Prerequisites
Cisco sets no prerequisite for the exams; the course assumes CCNA-level knowledge and day-to-day work on a routed network.
The exam and the certification
CCNP Enterprise takes two exams: the core, Implementing Cisco Enterprise Network Core Technologies (350-401 ENCOR) v1.2, 120 minutes, and the concentration, Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (300-410 ENARSI) v1.1, 90 minutes. Both are in English, at a Pearson VUE test centre or online through OnVUE proctoring. Cisco sets no prerequisite; passing ENCOR on its own earns Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core, and passing ENARSI earns Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation. The certification is valid for 3 years and is renewed by retaking an exam, moving up to CCIE or earning 80 Continuing Education credits; ENCOR is also the qualifying exam for the CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure lab.

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise
How it is sat
Through Pearson VUE, in English - at a test centre or online with OnVUE. Grading is pass or fail, and Cisco Learning Credits are accepted as payment.
Validity
Three years. Recertify by retaking the exam, passing a higher-level exam, or Continuing Education credits - 30 at Associate level, 80 at Professional.
Booking and retakes
Booked and paid through Pearson VUE. A failed exam can be retaken after five calendar days; Cisco publishes the fees in US dollars, and the local price appears at booking.

The labs
The course runs in Cisco Modeling Labs on real Cisco images: a multi-site topology with OSPF areas, EIGRP, eBGP towards two providers, VRF-Lite segments and a DMVPN hub, alongside Catalyst switches in the academy rack in Shoham for the campus Layer 2 work. You build the topology across the course, add NetFlow, IP SLA and syslog, harden it with AAA, CoPP and uRPF, and then work troubleshooting tickets against it. The automation module runs Python, NETCONF/RESTCONF and EEM against the same devices.
