Accessibility
Statement
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using a screen reader, keyboard navigation or assistive technology. If something here gets in your way, we want to hear about it.
What we have done
The site is built to WCAG 2.1 level AA as its working target. That includes semantic HTML structure, one main heading on every page, a visible keyboard focus indicator, a skip-to-content link, text alternatives for images, a real associated label on every form field, colour contrast checked against the AA thresholds, controls sized for a finger on a phone, and support for the operating system's reduced-motion preference.
The accessibility menu
Every page carries an accessibility menu, opened from the button in the lower corner or by keyboard. It offers five text sizes, high contrast, grayscale, highlighted links, a readable font, a large cursor, and a switch that stops every animation on the site - the films, the drawn scenes and the content reveals included. Choices are remembered on this device and re-applied on your next visit, and the menu itself is shown in the page's language.
Forms and dialogs
The enquiry window is a dialog: keyboard focus stays inside it while it is open, Escape closes it, and focus returns to the button that opened it. The choice between enrolling yourself and training for a team is a radio group with a legend, and the fields that do not apply to the choice are hidden from assistive technology as well. On the courses page the filter buttons announce their state, and the number of results is read out when it changes.
Language and direction
The site is published in Hebrew and in English, and every page has its own address in each language. The page direction and the document's language attribute are set on every page, so screen readers announce the content correctly in both. The language switch leads to the same page in the other language.
Where we know we fall short
The embedded map on the contact page is provided by a third party and we do not control its accessibility. The address, phone number and email are always available as plain text next to it, so no information depends on the map. The films on the site are background only - no sound, and nothing in them that the text does not also say.
