Training built
from field work

SpotAcademy is the training company of SpotGroup. The courses are built from the group's field work since 1999, and the instructors are engineers from its teams. The classroom is in Shoham.

The academy, from the inside

From the field
to the classroom

SpotAcademy is the training company of SpotGroup, which has been at this since 1999 - SpotNet runs networks, cloud and security for organisations, SpotiFiber plans and deploys infrastructure. The courses are built from that work: the firewalls those teams install, the networks they monitor and the faults they resolve.

Instructors from the field

Engineers from the group's own teams. The rest of the week they work on customers' networks - installing firewalls, monitoring networks, handling security incidents - and the exercises in class are taken from that work.

Real equipment, and a lab in the cloud

A rack at Oren 4, Shoham - firewalls, switches and access points - in the same building as the group's teams, and a lab platform of the academy's own on SpotNet's cloud, with an environment for every participant.

SpotNet's partnerships

SpotNet is a Fortinet Select Partner, a Splunk Partnerverse member, an authorized Peplink partner and the authorized Starlink business reseller in Israel. For the courses that means direct support channels to the vendor, instructors who hold the certifications themselves, and syllabuses built to the exam topics each vendor publishes.

The classroom in Shoham

Three things
every course is built on

The same three on an evening cohort for individuals and on intensive days for a team.

Instructors from the field

The instructors are engineers from the group's own teams. They teach the tools they work with, and bring scenarios from that work into the classroom.

Real equipment

Practice is on the firewalls, switches and access points in the academy's rack, and in a virtual lab each participant gets to themselves and can reach from home during the course.

The group behind it

SpotAcademy is part of SpotGroup, alongside SpotNet and SpotiFiber. The courses draw on SpotNet's vendor partnerships and on its teams' work with organisations across Israel.
